This article explains how to add custom Hoefler & Co fonts to your Homerun account. Is your font hosted by a different type foundry? Check out this article.
Connecting your type foundry account to Homerun requires some technical know-how. If you’re not that tech-savvy, see if a colleague can help you out.
Adding a Hoefler & Co font to Homerun
From anywhere in the tool, click Settings in the sidebar
Click Appearance from Customize
Click the blue button, Add custom font
First, make sure you click Typography.com, the font provider, in the first step
Fill in the name of the font in the second form
Then, open your Hoefler & Co account, go to your cloud dashboard and from the correct project, click Domains
The loading might take a while, so once it's done, click Domains again
Then, click + Add a Domain again and fill in your Homerun domain name. The domain name should be something like company.homerun.co. Click Save changes
Note: If you have a custom domain, like jobs.company.com, repeat this step and add that domain too.From the cloud dashboard, click Tools at the top right corner. Go to CSS Key, the first option in the menu on the left. Copy the link that is displayed behind href=“ and switch back to Homerun and copy this link in the CSS field in the pop-up
Switch back to Hoefler&Co and click Font styles on the left (displayed above CSS Key)
Then, click the font and look up the font family name, displayed below the title of the font
Switch back to Homerun and copy the family name in the field for the family name in the pop-up. Click Save
Good job! Your font will now show up in the font list in the Homerun editor. You can add more fonts by repeating the above steps.
