How do I optimize my job posts and career page for mobile?

A lot of candidates are looking for jobs on their phones. That's why it's important that your career page and job posts are just as attractive on mobile as they are on desktop.

The mobile view of the Live Editor shows you what your job post looks like on mobile and it allows you to make the necessary tweaks to the font size, padding and line height so that your text is optimized for mobile.

Optimizing your job posts and career page

The mobile view of the Live Editor works just like the desktop view, except that any changes you make to the fonts and padding will only show on the mobile version of your job post and career page.

Changing the font properties

  1. When in the Live editor of a job post or the career page, click the type of text you want to change (title, subtitle, etc.) on the right in the sidebar

  2. Next, click the type of property you want to adjust:

    1. Font

    2. Weight

    3. Size

    4. Line height

    5. Letter spacing

    6. Color

Changing the padding

  1. In the Live editor of a job post or career page, click the "Appearance" icon in the job block you want to change the padding for

  2. Click Padding and change the padding for the "Top" and "Bottom" of the job block

Note: Any changes to the copy will also change on the desktop version of the job post or career page.
