You can activate the LinkedIn Limited Listings integration so that LinkedIn can automatically gather your active jobs and post them to their job board for you. If your organization uses an external careers site to manage job posts, LinkedIn Limited Listings cannot be utilized through Homerun. In such cases, it is recommended to contact your external careers site provider to explore other LinkedIn integration options.

Note: as of June 2025, LinkedIn requires customers that upload jobs via a third party integration (such as Homerun) to have a paid account for at least 30 days before automatically publishing the jobs on LinkedIn.

Activating LinkedIn Limited Listings

  1. From anywhere in the tool, click 'Settings' in the sidebar.

  2. Via the sidebar on the left, click 'Integrations'.

  3. Scroll down a bit and click 'LinkedIn Limited Listings'.

  4. Add your LinkedIn company ID (learn how to find your LinkedIn company ID).

  5. Click 'Enable integration'.

Requirements for LinkedIn Limited Listings

For your jobs to appear on LinkedIn Limited Listings, they must meet the requirements set by LinkedIn:

  • Provide a complete job vacancy. Include full location details: address, zip code, city, and country. For U.S.-based on-site roles, include the state. If the job is remote, make sure it is marked as Remote in the settings.

  • Ensure the job is public and visible to users.

  • Include a full job post, not just an application form. Listings without a job description are not eligible.

  • Write a job description of at least 100 characters. It cannot consist solely of images or empty fields.

  • Avoid generic or open application posts. These are ineligible and may be manually delisted to prevent visibility issues.

Note: Jobs will only be eligible if all requirements are met. LinkedIn may update these requirements at any time. Read more in LinkedIn’s feed considerations and third-party job listing guidelines.

Note: It may take 24–48 hours for LinkedIn to process changes.

Note: Changing a job title or republishing a job (after being set to Private or Archived) will cause LinkedIn to treat it as a new job post. Homerun updates its feed twice daily, so changes may take up to 48 hours to appear.

Troubleshooting LinkedIn Job Visibility Issues

If your Homerun job postings are not appearing on LinkedIn, try the following:

  1. Verify location details in the job settings (address, zip code, city, country, and—if applicable—U.S. state).

  2. Check that ‘Share with LinkedIn’ is enabled in the job’s settings.

  3. Allow processing time. Changes made in Homerun may take up to 24 hours to appear.

  4. If the issue continues, republish the job or contact LinkedIn Support.

Following these steps resolves most visibility issues.

Choosing which jobs to add

By default, all eligible jobs will be added to the listing (only public jobs will be visible). You can however decide yourself which jobs you’d like to add/remove from/to this listing:

  1. From anywhere in the tool, go to Jobs or easily pick the job you want to check through Your jobs in the sidebar

  2. Click the treadwheel icon in the top right to go to the Settings

  3. Go to Job boards

  4. Turn the toggle off/on for LinkedIn Limited Listings (make sure the job meets all requirements).

To verify location details, go to the specific job in Homerun, click the settings cogwheel in the top-right corner, and under the 'General' tab, ensure location details including the city, country, and state (if applicable for US jobs) are correctly entered. Additionally, ensure the 'Share with LinkedIn' option is enabled in the job's settings.

Deactivating LinkedIn Limited Listings

  1. From anywhere in the tool, click 'Settings' in the sidebar.

  2. Via the sidebar on the left, click 'Integrations', under 'Customize'..

  3. Scroll down a bit and click 'LinkedIn Limited Listings'.

  4. Click 'Remove integration'.
