How do I change the URL (slug) of a job post?

URL's..ugh. They're often so bad looking. You're probably as annoyed by them as we are. Every detail matters, so we want you to decide what your URL's should look like. For example, you can change company.homerun.co/senior-project-manager into company.homerun.co/pm. Here's how:

Change the URL (slug)

  1. On your dashboard, look up the job opening you want to edit and click 'Settings' in the options.
  2. A pop-up appears. Change the URL by editing the field at the bottom.
  3. Click ‘Save’.

The URL is now changed. And don't worry, the old URL will still work and is redirected to your pretty, new URL.

Change the job’s title

To change the title of the job post, follow these steps:

  1. On your dashboard, look up the job opening you want to edit and click 'Settings' in the options.
  2. A pop-up appears. Change the job title.
  3. Click ‘Save’.

Notice that this only affects the job title on your dashboard and on the career site. You also need the change the job opening title in the job editor by clicking ‘Edit’ in the options.

Change your domain

Want to change your subdomain (company.homerun.co) in stead of the slug? Read more about changing your subdomain, or using a custom domain.
