How do I add custom fonts to Homerun?

You can add more than 10.000 fonts hosted by the five biggest online type foundries: Hoefler&Co, Google Web Fonts, Typekit, and

You only have to connect your type foundry account to Homerun and you’re good to go. 

Connecting your type foundry account to Homerun requires some technical know-how, if you’re not that tech-savvy, just ask a colleague to help you out. Start by choosing the foundry hosting your custom font:

If you have custom fonts that are not available in one of the supported font foundries, you can use the custom code functionality to add your fonts. To do this, follow the steps below. Ask a colleague to help you out with this, if it gets a little too technical. 

Adding custom fonts via custom code:

  1. Host your web font and CSS files on your own web server. 
  2. Use the custom code feature to add your stylesheet to the <head> section of the page(s) where you’d like to use the font: <link href="" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css"> 
  3. Use the custom code feature to add the `font-family` (and `font-size` and `font-weight`) to the elements of your liking. The main selectors you’d want to use are `.block .body` and `.block h1, .block h2, .block h3, .block h4`
  4. Click 'Update.
*Important:* make sure you enable CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) on your server, to allow your fonts to be served on your Homerun pages.
