How do I bulk delete multiple applicants?

Because of the GDPR you are no longer allowed to store candidate data indefinitely. You can enforce your retention policy by regularly deleting personal data in bulk or ask their permission to keep the data for another period of time determined by you.

Notice that deleting candidates in Homerun can’t be undone.

Bulk delete multiple candidates with the date function:

  1. Go to the 'Candidates' tab in your upper menu bar
  2. Click on ‘Applied/sourced any time’ in the left menu
  3. Choose your option: “date before X”, “date on X”, “date after X”, “any date”
  4. Select the date you need (for example ‘date before May 1, 2018) and hit ‘apply’
  5. You will see a list of the selected candidates on your screen
  6. Click ‘Bulk delete’ on the right side
  7. Then click on the red ‘delete’ button to confirm
  8. Your data has been deleted

Bulk delete multiple candidates of a specific job post:

  1. Go to the 'Candidates' tab in your upper menu bar
  2. Click on ‘Applied/sourced any job’ in the left menu
  3. Choose the job(s) you wish to delete the candidates from and hit 'apply'
  4. You will see a list of the selected candidates on your screen
  5. Click ‘Bulk delete’ on the right side
  6. Then click on the red ‘delete’ button to confirm
  7. Your data has been deleted
