How do I filter and bulk delete multiple candidates?

Want to know more about GDPR and how you can become compliant? Check out The GDPR ready to roll hiring guide.

Because of the GDPR you are no longer allowed to store candidate data indefinitely. To start deleting multiple candidates, click the “candidates” tab on the top menu and use the filters on the left to start filtering the candidates. You can combine the filters to get the selection you need. Below you will find some examples of selecting and deleting candidates:

Note: if you delete candidates, you cannot undo this.

I'd like to delete all rejected candidates who's data retention period has ended

  1. On the left side, click “Data retention period ends before [date of today]”
  2. Also, check “rejected”
  3. You now have a list of rejected candidates whose retention period has ended. Click “bulk delete” at the right.

I'd like to delete all candidates from all closed job openings

  1. On the left side, click “Applied/sourced on” and choose all the closed jobs.
  2. You now have a list of all the candidates that are still in closed jobs.
  3. Click “bulk delete” at the right.

I'd like to delete all candidates with a specific tag

  1. On the left side, click the tag you wish to filter on (this could be the tag you set to automatically be added to a candidate after the retention ends)
  2. You now have a list of all the candidates with that tag. Click “bulk delete” at the right.

I'd like to delete all candidates who were added (applied/sourced) before I set the consent box

  1. On the left side, click “Applied/sourced on” and choose before and add the date you applied the consent box
  2. Click “No consent given”.
  3. You now have a list of all candidates who applied before you created the consent box and therefore have not given active consent. Click “bulk delete” at the right.
