When creating your Homerun account, the language of the job posts, apply forms and career page is set to the language based on your browser language and/or location. You can change this to 14 other languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, or Turkish. You can also offer 2 or more languages to your visitors. A subtle language switch will then appear in the top left corner of your job post. You can decide per job which language(s) you’re offering.
Adding or changing a language will automatically translate:
The text of the apply button: Apply now.
All the texts in the application form, like ‘Personal info’ and all the field titles.
The job type, for example: Full-time.
The standard ‘Our website’ URL in the footer.
Changing the default language of a job post
Via the sidebar on the left, click on a job opening under 'Your jobs' or head to the 'Jobs' page to navigate to your job post.
Select 'Job post' in the menu bar at the top.
At the top left, you’ll find a language dropdown.
Click on the language button and then click 'Edit languages'. A pop-up modal shows up with a selection of all our languages.
Switch the toggle to either change the default language, or add other language(s) you want to create the job post in.
You can change the default language by ticking the box next to the language of your choice.
Click 'Save changes'.
This job post will now be shown in the default language you chose. New job posts are still set in the language in your general settings.
Note: Text that has been added by yourself will still need to be translated.
