Filtering and searching for candidates

You can search and filter candidates from the Candidates page to quickly find who you're looking for or surface who needs attention — across all your jobs at once.

From anywhere in Homerun Use Cmd + K (Mac) or Ctrl + K (Windows), or click the search icon in the sidebar, to search across your entire account.

From the Candidates page Click Candidates in the sidebar, then use the search bar to find a candidate by first name, last name, email address, or phone number.

Click Filters on the Candidates page to open the filter panel. You can apply one or multiple filters at the same time — the list updates as you apply them.

Filter by one or more specific job openings to narrow the list to candidates in those roles.

Filter by stage name to see all candidates currently at a specific point in the hiring process — across all selected jobs.

Shows candidates who are still waiting for a first reply and whose set reply timeframe has passed. Useful for making sure no one falls through the cracks.

Shows candidates who have replied to your team's email but whose reply hasn't been read yet.
​

Shows candidates where a team member has @mentioned you in a comment and you haven't seen it yet.
​

Shows candidates who are waiting on your review after an event has taken place.
​

Filter by data retention status:

Useful for staying on top of GDPR compliance and processing deletions or retention extensions in bulk.

Filter by how the candidate entered Homerun — either applied via the application form or sourced manually.
​

Filter by one or more tags applied to candidates.
​

Filter by the review status of candidates in the application stage.

To remove all active filters, click Clear all in the filter panel. To remove a single filter, deselect it individually.
