Job slots

Job slots represent the number of active jobs you can have while on a specific plan. A job is active when it is published as a Public or Private job. Draft jobs and Closed jobs do not count as active jobs.

When you have used the maximum amount of job slots available on your plan, you will be prevented from opening a new job unless you close an active job or upgrade to a different plan.

If you downgrade your plan and exceed the number of job slots of that plan, your most recently published jobs will be automatically closed. To see the number of job slots available on your plan, you can have a look at the Plans page within your Homerun account.

Candidate limit

What is a candidate limit?

A candidate limit means that there is a certain limit set on the amount of candidates you can have in your account. Under candidates we mean all candidates that are in the account, so both in open and closed jobs. Also candidates that are in no job, count towards the limit.

What happens when I reach my candidate limit?

The Free plan has a limit of 10 candidates. The trial and the Mini plan have a limit of 100 candidates. The Light plan has a limit of 250 candidates.

When you reach 80% of your candidate limit there is a warning notification displayed in Homerun and you'll receive an email about this. This way you’ll be informed in time to ensure you don’t miss out on any candidates!

Once you’ve reached your limit candidates will no longer be able to apply. The Apply now button on your job posts will change into Applications closed. You will be notified of this as well.

What should I do when I reach my candidate limit?

You can either delete candidates to free up space or you can upgrade your plan to make sure you can receive an unlimited amount of applications. The Basic plan and Plus plan do not have candidate limits. If you upgrade your plan you can immediately resume hiring.

What happens when I downgrade and I’m exceeding the candidate limit of the plan I’ve downgraded to?

If you downgrade to the Free plan or a paid plan with a candidate limit, all your candidates will be retained, even if you’re already over the limit. However, you won’t be able to add any more candidates and you cannot receive new applications. To re-open your applications, delete some of your candidates to make sure you’re below the limit.

Email limit

On the Free plan the number of emails you can send is limited to 50 per week. In the trial period and on the Mini plan, this is limited to 250 emails per week. On the Light plan, it is limited to 1000 emails per week.

When you’ve reached your email limit, you won’t be able to send any more emails. When you try sending an email while you’ve reached your limit, you’ll be notified the moment you try sending an email. On the Plans page, you will find an alert icon next to ‘emails’, showing you’ve reached your limit. If you upgrade to another plan, you can continue sending emails right away.

Team member limit

The trial, Free plan and the Mini plan have a limit of 3 team members that you can add to your Homerun account as users. The Light plan has a limit of 5 team members.

When you’ve reached your team member limit, you won’t be able to add any more team members unless you upgrade to the Light, Basic or Plus plan. Learn more about inviting your team.
