How does Homerun's pricing work?

When your trial ends, there are three different plans to choose from: Starter, Core, and Plus. Each plan includes a different amount of job and employee limits. You can find a full comparison on our Pricing page.

Active and inactive jobs

A job opening is only active after you publish it, and becomes inactive when you decide to archive it.

Notice that there are 3 job states: active, archived and draft.

Active job: An active job is a published job post, and it’s either public, private, paused or closed.

This takes up one job slot.

Archived job: An archived job means you’ve fully finished hiring and don’t want to receive new or communicate with applicants.

Free. This won't take up any of your job slots.

Draft job: A draft job post is not published and open to the public yet.

Free. This won't take up any of your job slots.

When will I start paying for Homerun?

The billing period starts on the day you choose your plan. After adding payment details, you will be charged and your plan starts right away. On the Starter plan, you can choose between a monthly or yearly commitment. For the Core and Plus plans, we only offer yearly commitments, but you can choose to pay either upfront or in monthly instalments. Your Plans page will show you your current plan and when the next billing day will be.

To cancel a contract, you’ll need to give notice at least one month before your renewal date. If you're on a yearly plan, you'll receive two reminder emails. The first one 60 days before and the second one 45 days before the renewal, letting you know the deadline to cancel.

How to choose a paid plan

You can choose a paid plan during your trial, or after your trial has ended. To choose a paid plan, follow these steps below:

  1. Via the sidebar on the left, click your profile in the top left corner, and click 'Your plan'. This will lead you to the Plans page.

  2. On the Plans page, select the plan of your choice.

  3. Select whether you want to go for a monthly or yearly plan.

  4. Next, choose your payment method and fill in your billing details. If you are based outside of the Netherlands, you will be able to enter a VAT number.

  5. Be sure to review your plan and when you're happy with you choice, go ahead and click 'Subscribe'.

  6. That's it! Your payment will be processed and you can start using Homerun on the plan you chose.

How to upgrade to a larger plan

  1. Via the sidebar on the left, click your profile in the top left corner, and click 'Your plan'. This will lead you to the Plans page.

  2. On the Plans page, select the plan of your choice.

  3. Review your payment method and billing details, ensuring they are up to date.

  4. To upgrade your plan, click 'Upgrade'. That's it! Your upgrade will go into effect immediately.

How to downgrade to a smaller plan

  1. Via the sidebar on the left, click your profile in the top left corner, and click 'Your plan'. This will lead you to the Plans page.

  2. On the Plans page, select the plan of your choice.

  3. Review your payment method and billing details, ensuring they are up to date.

  4. To upgrade your plan, click 'Schedule downgrade'.

  5. Your downgrade will be scheduled after your current contract ends.
