How to review using scorecards

You’ll be able to asses candidates on different traits and add more detail to your reviews.

Scorecards are like checklists for hiring. They add structure and avoid bias in candidate reviews by rating a candidate per trait and skill. This way you make sure everything stays streamlined!

Set up and review candidates with scorecards per hiring stage

Setting up your scorecard

  1. Via the sidebar on the left, click on a job opening under 'Your jobs' or head to the 'Jobs' page to navigate to the specific job that you want to add scorecards to.

  2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to navigate to the job settings.

  3. Select the hiring stage you want to add a scorecard to.

  4. To add a scorecard, click ‘Insert template’.

  5. In the dropdown menu, select one of your existing scorecard templates or select ‘No template’ to create a new scorecard from scratch. That's it: you have added a scorecard to the job stage.

Reviewing candidates with scorecards

  1. After setting up the scorecard, head back to the job opening and select 'Candidates' in the menu bar at the top.

  2. Click on a candidate to open up their profile.

  3. Under 'Hiring stages', select the candidate's current stage.

  4. Click 'Add review'.

  5. Fill out the scorecard and click on 'Submit'.

Directly review candidates with scorecards

  1. Via the sidebar on the left, click on a job opening under 'Your jobs' or head to 'Candidates' directly to go to the candidate that you want to review.

  2. Click on a candidate to open up their profile.

  3. Under 'Hiring stages', select the candidate's current stage.

  4. Click 'Add review'.

  5. Click 'Insert scorecard' and select the scorecard that you want to add.

  6. Fill out the scorecard and click on 'Submit'.
