When you've discovered a candidate isn't the right fit for your company or for the job profile, it's best to disqualify the candidate as soon as possible. To help you out, we came up with a set of disqualification reasons: Too junior, Too senior, No relevant experience, Position was filled, Position was put on hold, Perhaps in the future, Salary expectation too high, Accepted another offer, Stopped responding or didn't show, Not willing to relocate.

If you are not looking for any of these, you can also add your own disqualification reasons.

Adding a new disqualification reason

  1. Click your profile in the top left corner and click 'Settings'.

  2. From the left, click 'Disqualification', displayed below Candidates.

  3. Click 'Add new reason' and type a new disqualification reason. Hit enter.

You've now added a new disqualification reason and it will appear in the list of disqualification reasons when disqualifying candidates.

Read on to learn more about how to disqualify a candidate.
