Tags enable you to manage and categorize candidates to match your workflow. Let's take a look at how tags work in this article.
Adding tags to a candidate profile
Via the sidebar on the left, click on a job opening under 'Your jobs' or head to the 'Jobs' page to navigate to the job where you want to add tags.
Click 'Candidates', next to 'Apply form' at the top.
Click on a candidate to view their candidate profile.
From the candidate profile, scroll down to 'About'.
Click '+ Add tag' to add a new or existing tag. The tag has now been added to the candidate's profile, below their contact information.
Deleting tags from the candidate profile
If you'd like to remove the tag, just click the x behind the tag name.
Adding tags from the overview
Via the sidebar on the left, click 'Candidates'.
When you hover over a candidate, click 'Add' or 'Edit', on the right.
In the pop-up, create a new tag or add an existing tag.
Select the tag(s) you want to add and click 'Save changes'.
The tags are now added to the candidate and displayed next to their name.
Searching by tag
Via the sidebar on the left, click 'Candidates'.
You can filter on a specific tag by clicking 'Filter' at the top left.
Scroll down to 'Tags', select the tags you want to search by and click 'Apply filters'. You now have a list of all the candidates linked to one or more tags.
Additionally, you can narrow down your search by adding different filters like dates, more tags, job posts, or amount of stars for a star rating.
Managing and editing tags via the general settings
Your general settings will give you a complete overview of all existing tags. To keep your candidates organized, you can create, edit, and add tags.
Click 'Settings' in the left-hand sidebar.
You will find 'Tags' under 'Candidates' in the sidebar.
Here are a few things you can do:
- Add new tags by clicking the 'Add new tag' button.
- Rename or delete existing tags by hovering over a tag. On the right, click the pencil icon (rename) or the circled x icon (delete). When finished renaming, hit enter to save.
