In addition to closing a job opening (saving all data related to the job), you can also delete a job opening. In this case you fully delete the job post, application form, all candidate data and insights. Want to keep certain candidates? Make sure you have moved them to another job opening first. If you want to save all data regarding a job opening, then just close it.
If you’re certain you want to completely delete a job opening, follow the steps below.
Note: deleting a job cannot be undone. It will delete all data including the job post, application form, candidate data and insights. Make sure you have moved the candidates you want to keep to another job opening. You can find out how to do that here: How do I move a candidate?
Deleting a job post
First, make sure the job is closed. You can find your closed jobs by clicking Jobs in the sidebar and then go to the Closed tab:
Click on the closed job you want to delete and click the three dots (...) in the top right corner:
Click Delete job and confirm by clicking Delete job again.
That’s it! Once you’ve deleted the job, the company insights are adjusted accordingly and all data, including the candidates', is deleted.
