If you want to share information in a comment with only a part of the hiring team, you can do so by sharing this information in a sensitive comment. These comments can only be added and viewed by team members with sensitive information permission.

Team members without access to sensitive information will only see the regular team comments. Team members with access to sensitive information will see both the comments with and without sensitive information.

Sharing information in a sensitive comment

  1. On a candidate profile, click the speech bubble icon in the task bar or press 'c' on your keyboard to open the comment sidebar.

  2. You'll notice a small lock icon at the bottom of the text field. Click it to make the comment sensitive.

  3. The background color of the text box will change to yellow. This means you're now writing a sensitive comment.

  4. Click 'Add' to add the comment.

  5. You can hover over the lock icon to see who can view the comment.

Note: The background color of a comment with sensitive information is yellow. Regular comments will have the same color as the background of the comments section.
