With our RSVP feature, you can smoothly manage event invites for all attendees. All attendees, including the candidate, will receive an email to accept or decline the event invitation. The event creator is automatically marked as attending.

RSVP options

Attendees can RSVP directly via the received email or through their email client/calendar app, such as Gmail or Outlook. All attendees RSVP to the event with either of these:

  • Yes (Accept)

  • Maybe

  • No (Decline)

If you have been invited to an event by your colleague, you

Updating your RSVP status

The RSVP feature syncs your calendar app with Homerun, so you can RSVP through your calendar app (Google Calendar or Outlook, f.e.). Depending on your email client, at the top of the event invite, you will find the RSVP options 'Yes', 'Maybe' and 'No'.

The updated status will be reflected in the event in Homerun, so this syncs automatically.

Tracking attendee RSVPs

When an attendee RSVPs, either via email or the calendar app, this will be displayed in the dedicated stage page, under the event details. The candidate's profile picture will be displayed with an icon indicating a green tick (accepted), a question mark (maybe) or a red icon with a cross (declined). If a candidate has not responded at all, no icon will be displayed.

Changes in RSVP status

Be aware that changes to RSVP statuses will update in the event details in Homerun, but these updates will not trigger notifications. We recommend to regularly check the event status in the candidate profile or events page in Homerun to stay updated.
